Do you have a child who will be turning 5 prior to September 1st? If so, it is time to register for Kindergarten!  Kindergarten Welcome Events, which will include a sneak peek of a classroom and a chance to meet the teaching team, will occur in all Parkland Elementary Schools in March.  Register now to secure your spot. Contact information and event dates are here.

PTO NEWS:

• Ends Sun. 1/18: Spirit Wear store is open featuring our NEW LOGO! Update your Panther apparel before Jan.18 ends. Orders will be delivered and sent home with students in February. 
• Mon. 1/19: Science Fair Committee Zoom meeting at 7pm. Email Katie Jones to help, Katherine.Jessica.jones@gmail.com. Science Fair will be Tuesday, March 24. 
• Thurs. 1/22: Next 5th Grade Picnic planning meeting is 7pm at Wegmans! Contact Gina Johnson, ginajohnson725@gmail.com.
• Ends Fri. 1/30: Mary Ann Donuts Fundraiser is back by popular demand now through Jan. 30! Each $20 gift card is good for one dozen (12) donuts plus one drink! 50% of sales will be donated back to Parkway Manor. Info + Order Forms were sent home with students. Find PDF here!
• Fri. 1/30: FroYo Friday $5 Menchie's sold at all lunches.

FREE FRENCH ACTIVITY FAIR for 4th and 5th graders is at PHS on Saturday, February 21 (rescheduled from Jan. 24) when French Honor Society students will host fun activities related to French culture in the Parkland High School Cafeteria from 10 AM - 12 Noon. Sign up here by February 12.

PTO NEWS:

• Wed. to Fri. 1/7-1/9: Use your *Donation Coupon to get a Jersey Mike's sub all 3-days for only $3! *Donation Coupons sent home with each student. Tilghman Square location ONLY. See flyer.
• Thurs. 1/8: NEW LOGO Spirit Wear store opens online through 11:59pm on Jan. 18. Orders will be delivered in February to Parkway Manor and sent home with students. 
• Wed. 1/14: Monthly PTO Meeting, 9:15am in Cafeteria 
• Tues. 3/24: SAVE THE DATE for the Science Fair! All students invited to participate. Details coming soon!

As a result of the "Traditional Snow Day" the district observed on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, there will be an IN-PERSON school day for both students and staff on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13,  2026.

The Parkland Community Advisory Council will hold its December meeting on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Parkland High School, 2700 N Cedar Crest Blvd, Allentown, PA 18104 . These monthly meetings are open to the public. The topic of this meeting is Vision 2030 and Reimagining Parkland High School followed by the PHS winter concert presented by Dr. Mark Madson, Mr. Nate Davidson and Mrs. Terri Plattner.
